Thank you so much Richard, and I’m glad to hear I was able to spread the campaign. I don’t know how much we can achieve with it, but being optimistic is how things get achieved, and it’s definitely worth the effort for something so important.

I have signed and am spreading the word. Your post was the first I knew about the petition, so thank you. But it will be an uphill struggle to get a government to condemn a regime’s domestic policies. They can just about manage it with Burma and Zimbabwe, but that seems to be as far as it goes.

Ha ha thanks. It’s really not great at all, I just like writing them sometimes But I’m glad you enjoyed! Rhyme and rhythm are fun, popularity can be too cool for its own good sometimes

Well I think it’s great! Much better than the stuff that gets people poetry prizes these days. It has rhyme and rhythm, which seem strangely out of fashion.

Sally, thoughtful as ever. GX has given lots of young people something that has fulfilled some of those dreams. And everyone will have good memories of the adventure and in that way are probably luckier than most of the people around them.

I’m sure you won’t forget the experiences from this year and that they will have a impact rippling out from you and the world you live in in all kinds of planned and unexpected ways.

I’m looking forward to you being home for a while too!!!!

You have had an amazing, eye-opening year. You have met some wonderful, wonderful people and seen some of the most jaw-dropping parts of the world. You are lucky – but you have largely made your own luck.

Maybe, just maybe, you will inspire/ have inspired others to join you to make the we world somewhere where we can all chase our dreams that little bit more?
